The dumbass way Taika Waititi scored his gig at Marvel

Thor: Ragnarok was a film applauded by many critics for it’s refreshingly jovial tone and the fact that, unlike a lot of superhero movies, didn’t take itself all that seriously. A fact director Taika Waititi can take much of the credit for. Spec Ops: The Line is a video game famous for shitting just all over the usual hacky cliches of the military shooter genre that was oh so popular in the early 2010’s. The Lancer from the Gears of War series is, in the simplest possible sense a big fuck-off machinegun with a chainsaw strapped to it. Unsurprisingly the extended Gears of War universe establishes that this gun is considered to be pretty dangerous in battle. Somewhat surprisingly though the gun is actually dangerous for the wielder because it has a nasty habit of blinding people during use.
